There are certainly many more organizations that focus on the advancement of civil rights in America. The question I have to ask is, How many whites belong to any of these organizations?  If the goal is integration into society where all people are seen as equal, how well are these civil rights organizations doing within their organizations? If America’s strength is due to being a melting pot of immigrants from diverse backgrounds around the world, how do we continue to melt together when we pull apart to form race related exclusive organizations of any color, black or white? When a culture or group demands to be recognized for a distinction such as skin color, are they really trying to be part of the greater American society? Put another way, How do we blend together when we are pulling apart?

Improving Race Relations Through A Positive Exchange of Ideas

How can we do this? By sharing our positive thoughts and ideas about race in a moderated conversation where everyone can have a voice. This is a conversation about race. It is not a conversation about about sexual orientation, religion, radical Islam, morality that does not concern race, or any other topic that is also important in today’s society. Although they may be important and worthy topics of discussion, our focus is on Race Relations and how to improve them. Think about it and share your thoughts and ideas for the benefit of each and every one of us for the sake of our society as a whole. Just click on “Leave A Comment”.
